The First Arc
The Archive marks what it preserves. The first mark appeared in the frost — a single arc, drawn in ice-blue ink on a page that should not exist. It was found in the prequel, etched into the wall of the Archive itself. Most readers walked past it. The Archive noticed who stopped.
One arc. One question.
The Second Arc
The second arc was drawn in silence. Not ink. The Echo-Scribe carved it without knowing what they were carving — a resonance pattern that echoed through the margins of every chapter where the writing changed reality. Look at the pages where the ink runs differently. The arc is there.
